hugged by the earth.
The rope swung low,
like a board and strings
hanging on heavy arms.
Caught and ridden,
her fingers twisted against sturdy strands.
With a great breath, she flew with gusto,
her dress a white flag wrapped about her.
Succumbing to gravity, she lay nestled in the undergrowth.
Wetting her lashes, like the morning dew.
Dabbled on her cheeks, wiped away by the ivy.
